ABOUT

Hallie Moore graduated from UNCSA, in 2022 with a M.F.A. in Wig and Makeup Design and Production 

 

Since graduating she has had the privilege of working on a variety of film, opera, and other theatrical productions. She served as the co-designer and shop manager at the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina and Virginia’s State theatre, Barter.

She then went on to Broadway, where she worked as the assistant wig and makeup supervisor for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of 1776: The Musical. Following the end of 1776: The Musical’s Broadway run, she joined NETworks National Tours as the hair and makeup supervisor for the same show. 

 

She has built various types of wigs, facial hair, and hair pieces for designers and companies, including Disney, Roundabout Theatre Company and more. These experiences, as well as others, have honed her skills in wigs and makeup design, application, and maintenance, as well as provided me with a deep understanding of industry’s standards and expectations.​
